The journey to excellence in facial plastic surgery

After college, he remained in the Bay Area, working various jobs in graphic design and biotechnology until he made the decision to attend medical school. Although becoming a physician was always in the back of his mind, he wanted to be sure that he wanted to dedicate his time – and his life – to a profession he knew would be all-consuming.

He then relocated to Los Angeles and received his Doctor of Medicine from the prestigious Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. After a highly productive research year investigating the body’s immune response to head and neck cancer, he completed an Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery residency at Wayne State University in Michigan.

Following residency, Dr. Liebertz was selected as one of only 46 surgeons worldwide for further subspecialty fellowship training in Advanced Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. He was extensively trained by world-renowned facial plastic surgeons, including one of the founders of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Since his fellowship training, he has further refined the expert techniques to specialize in facelifts, neck lifts, mini lifts, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, and advanced training in facial injectables like BOTOX and dermal fillers.

In the words of his patients…

You honestly can’t find a better team.

The entire staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I’ve been coming here for several years, and you honestly can’t find a better team. I’ve worked with Yaicha on removing a tattoo, and also laser hair removal. She’s phenomenal, knowledgeable, and very honest about expectations. I’ve also worked with Dr. Liebertz with injections and now a facial procedure. His bedside manner is impeccable, he’s consistent, he’s honest and conservative. When it comes to getting anything done on your face, you want someone who is conservative in their approach and attentive to detail- Dr. Liebertz is exactly that.

I felt like I was in the best hands possible.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Dr. Liebertz and the incredible staff. They answered all of my questions and I felt like I was in the best hands possible. I’d totally recommend any friend or family here, and assure you that once you walk through those doors you’ll feel the same way.

I don’t think I could have asked for a better result and experience.

I found Dr. Liebertz to be a kind and caring surgeon. He was highly professional, detailed during appointments, and even called to check on me after surgery. What surgeon does that these days? I was impressed! Since turning 40, I started to notice a more prominent double chin forming. This year, I decided to treat myself and get it addressed. After a lot of online research and three consultations with surgeons, I decided on Dr. Liebertz. I’m glad I did! This was my first procedure, and I was rather nervous on surgery day. It’s your face, after all! Dr. Liebertz and his team really did help put my mind at ease. I was awake during the entire procedure, and Dr. Liebertz and his team treated me with the utmost care and consideration. While I’m only five days out, I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. There was limited swelling, and limited bruising, and my profile has improved a great deal. Gone is the fullness under the jowl area and that extra fat pad under the chin. I don’t think I could have asked for a better result and experience. I’d also like to commend the Liebertz Plastic Surgery at Yarrow Bay Team. I found the entire experience from start to finish to be top-notch by the entire team. Thanks again, Dr. Liebertz.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Your experience begins with Katie who is warm, welcoming, and friendly. Brandi is the nurse and is just as wonderful and sweet. Brandi makes you feel comfortable while assisting Dr. Liebertz. Connie helps coordinate all the dates and pricing. Connie is also such a sweet woman. They all make sure to build a relationship and that’s what makes this place so special and unique. Their location is easy to find, very easy parking and is located right on the water at the Liebertz Plastic Surgery at Yarrow Bay Marina. This practice goes above and beyond to make you a part of their family. I refer all my friends and clients- everyone feels the same. Thank you all for making everyone who walks through your doors feel the same as I do. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I couldn’t be happier!

Dr. Liebertz has a wonderful, kind manner. His procedure on me created lovely results. I couldn’t be happier! My facial improvements have been exciting for me, yet subtle as not to be too obvious.

He is friendly, professional, and incredibly skilled.

Dr. Liebertz fixed a bad fill job that I had received a week before. The original fill was supposed to smooth out the crow’s feet and wrinkles around the sides of my eyes, but that Doctor had used a needle and just injected a lump of Juvederm and pushed on it to work it in. Unfortunately, I was left with a prominent bump on each side of my eyes. Dr. Liebertz gave me the option of dissolving the existing lumps, or he said he could fill around the lumps so I could get the result that I had hoped for initially. Unlike my other Doctor, Dr. Liebertz uses a fine cannula to deliver the filler. This method is more precise and gives a much more natural result. My eyes turned out great! I couldn’t be happier. I will be making the 2-hour drive to see Dr. Liebertz from now on. He is friendly, professional, and incredibly skilled. I highly recommend him.
